If this proves unsuccessful, the appeals committee will consider your objection.<\/p>\n<p>If your objection is being considered, you will have the opportunity to explain your objection in person at a hearing. You will receive an invitation to attend. Following the hearing, the committee will issue a recommendation to the local authority.<\/p>\n<p>The local authority will then make a new decision and inform you of its decision in writing. This decision will also include the committee\u2019s recommendation.<\/p>\n<p>The Appeals Committee is independent and comprises external experts.
