Flexible homes are let for a minimum of 30 years and may be situated in several different locations during that time.<\/p>\n<h2>Will only status holders and Ukrainians be living there?<\/h2>\n<p>No. The Apeldoorn housing associations let out the flats. This means that anyone registered with them has a chance of being allocated a flat. The mix of tenants is the same as in the housing associations\u2019 standard flats.<\/p>\n<h2>I read online that flexible homes are only allowed to remain in one place for a maximum of 15 years. Is that correct?<\/h2>\n<p>This may vary from project to project.  In Host-city, the flexible housing units may remain in place until 2060 at the latest.<\/p>\n<h2>If a flexible home is moved here from another municipality, such as Amersfoort, do the residents move with it to Host-city?<\/h2>\n<p>No. The flexible housing units being installed here are specifically for the Apeldoorn housing market. No residents are moving with them.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i2\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Area\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i2\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <h2>In both models, I can see housing developments marked out between the Polderweg and the A50. Is it already certain that housing will be built there?<\/h2>\n<p>We can\u2019t say yet. It depends on which of the various scenarios we choose. There is a possibility that homes will be built there. If that is the case, we will discuss this with local residents.<\/p>\n<h2>Have the plans for the area west of the canal been finalised yet?<\/h2>\n<p>We will be looking into this using the scenarios for the entire Zuidrand area. Local residents will have the opportunity to discuss this with us in 2024.<\/p>\n<h2>When will I find out what\u2019s happening with my street? I\u2019m not sure at the moment whether I should invest in my home or not.<\/h2>\n<p>The overall plan is to discuss various scenarios with stakeholders at the end of the first quarter of 2024. We will then make a decision around summer 2024, at which point local residents will be given more clarity.<\/p>\n<h2>I live on Veldweg. Will there be houses built south of Veldweg as well?<\/h2>\n<p>In the spatial study to investigate whether Host-city is a viable option, we have not yet included any housing in the plans. For the future \u2013 when 2,000 to 3,000 homes are built \u2013 this is certainly an option.<\/p>\n<h2>Residents of Veldweg now have an unobstructed view. Will there soon be houses blocking their view?<\/h2>\n<p>An initial exploratory study is now in place, but there is no plan as yet. We will draw up the final urban development plan in the next phase. We will again involve local residents in this process.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i3\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Public space\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i3\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <h2>What does the rest of the development look like?<\/h2>\n<p>This is not yet known. We will be presenting the scenarios in the first quarter of 2024.<\/p>\n<h2>How far does the search area for housing development extend?<\/h2>\n<p>The boundaries of the Zuidrand area vision are shown on the map below. This area will not be used solely for housing. As far as housing is concerned, the main focus is likely to be around the Canal. The boundaries for housing will be clarified in the area vision to be drawn up.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/DATA\/APD\/images\/dossiers\/nieuwbouw-en-ontwikkeling\/zuidoost\/zuidrand\/kaart-host-city.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Will there be a buffer zone between the villages and the new development?<\/h2>\n<p>The scenarios will make it clear whether a buffer will be introduced and what form it will take.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i4\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Traffic\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i4\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <h2>De Veldweg is listed under the Host City\u2019s costs \u2013 what exactly is going to happen there?<\/h2>\n<p>It may be that changes need to be made to the current traffic layout of the Veldweg. When planning Host-City, we want to make use of the existing roads as much as possible. It is not yet clear exactly where the outer boundaries of Host-City will lie. It may be the case that the Veldweg lies just outside these boundaries. In that case, no changes will be necessary. It may also be the case that the Veldweg becomes part of Host-City. In that event, we will need to take appropriate measures to ensure traffic flows smoothly and safely. This will be the subject of further investigation.<\/p>\n<h2>We are concerned about the closure of Kanaal-Zuid and the diversion of traffic onto the surrounding roads (Cura\u00e7ao-Saba, Wilmersdorf, Lansiersveld, etc.). Will these roads become busier and less safe?<\/h2>\n<p>From a traffic engineering perspective, it is feasible to implement this measure. The roads that will have to cope with the additional traffic are suitable for this purpose. In the next phase, we will investigate whether measures are needed to maintain road safety or to improve it.<\/p>\n<h2>There will be more traffic on Landdrostlaan due to the closure of Kanaal-Zuid (north side). It\u2019s already so busy here. What does this mean for traffic on Landdrostlaan?<\/h2>\n<p>The closure of the northern section of Kanaal-Zuid is necessary to ensure the smooth flow of traffic at the Landdrostlaan\/Polderweg and Lange Amerikaweg\/Kanaal-Zuid (south side) junctions. Traffic will be diverted onto surrounding roads, including Landdrostlaan. Landdrostlaan can cope well with a slight increase in traffic. Residents may experience some inconvenience due to the volume of traffic.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i5\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i5\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i5\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Water management\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i5\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i5\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <h2>If you make changes to the drainage system, will I still be able to live here? It\u2019s already very wet.<\/h2>\n<p>It is not yet clear which homes can be preserved and which cannot. As for the homes that are to be preserved, we will certainly ensure that they remain dry.
