Gadgets. Fridges, laptops, TVs, hoovers and mobile phones \u2013 we have more and more of them, and we\u2019re throwing them away faster and faster. All these gadgets we own consume raw materials. The Earth does not have enough raw materials to keep up with the pace at which we continue to produce them.<\/p>\n

That is why it is important to buy less, to use the things we have for longer, and to repair them when they break. These are all part of the circular economy! Apeldoorn City Council believes it is important to encourage residents to repair more. We\u2019ve done this through the Sharepair and Heel Apeldoorn Repareert projects, and their follow-up initiatives\u00a0E6<\/a>.<\/p>\n
