The care organisation can register a client for this scheme. Through the Opstapregeling, the client is given a temporary tenancy agreement for up to two years and a certain number of hours per week of outpatient support. Every six months, the housing association, together with the support worker and the client, assesses how things are going. If all goes well, the temporary tenancy agreement is converted into a tenancy agreement for an indefinite period after a maximum of two years.<\/p>\n<p>The procedure for the Opstapregeling is as follows:<\/p>\n<h3>Register for the Entry-Level Scheme<\/h3>\n<p>You can register for the scheme online using the button above.<\/p>\n<h4>Tips for registration<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Be thorough and honest<br \/><\/strong>Please complete the application form as accurately and fully as possible. The committee will base its assessment on the application form. The care worker must, together with the client, provide an honest and reliable picture of the client\u2019s situation and abilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be clear about the financial situation<br \/><\/strong>The financial situation is a key area of concern. The documents requested regarding income must be up to date.<\/p>\n<p>If there are any debts, arrangements must be in place to settle them before the client can be allocated a new independent living address. It is desirable that work has been underway on a debt settlement plan and repayment since the client\u2019s admission to the residential care setting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Set out your housing requirements<br \/><\/strong>The application form asks about medical or practical housing requirements. A doctor\u2019s certificate is required for medical housing requirements, whilst a clear justification is required for practical housing requirements (such as a school nearby for the children).<\/p>\n<h3>Book an appointment for a kitchen-table chat<\/h3>\n<p>The application process also includes a kitchen-table interview. Please make an appointment for this in good time, otherwise it will delay your application. This is because your application cannot be assessed until the kitchen-table interview has taken place.<\/p>\n<h3>Assessment by the Admissions Committee<\/h3>\n<p>The Access Committee assesses the application. The committee consists of two people: one representative from the local authority and one representative from the joint housing associations of Apeldoorn.
