Occasional stalls are not permitted at weekly markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>There are various types of temporary sites:<\/h3>\n<h4>Ideal location<\/h4>\n<p>A non-commercial stall is intended for activities that are not carried out for commercial gain. For example, for social, informational, charitable, cultural, sporting, educational, philosophical or religious purposes.<\/p>\n<h5>Conditions<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>You may apply for a permit for a maximum of 12 days per calendar year per applicant, foundation or organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No trading licence required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A maximum of two small, easily movable items measuring no more than 1 x 1 metre (for example, a standing table or a small mobile trolley)<\/li>\n<li>The items must not obstruct the surroundings or the emergency services, must be capable of being removed immediately, and must not be placed directly in front of the entrance to a shop or business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Promotional location<\/h4>\n<p>A promotional stand is designed to promote a product, service, organisation or company.<\/p>\n<h5>Conditions<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>You may apply for a promotional stand for a maximum of 4 days per calendar year per client.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional restrictions apply in the city centre:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promotional stands are only permitted on the Marktplein;<\/li>\n<li>On Raadhuisplein, this is only possible if space allows;<\/li>\n<li>In any case, Raadhuisplein is unavailable from 1 March to 31 October inclusive due to the summer terraces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Temporary premises for a shop of one\u2019s own<\/h4>\n<p>A temporary stall at your own shop, for example to mark an anniversary, a grand opening or a special promotion.<\/p>\n<h5>Conditions<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>You may apply for this a maximum of twice per calendar year. You may apply for a maximum of two days at a time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Occasional commercial trading pitches (including food trucks)<\/h4>\n<p>An occasional commercial trading post is a temporary commercial sales or service outlet that does not fall into any of the other categories.<\/p>\n<h5>Conditions<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>You may submit a claim a maximum of twice per calendar year. You may claim for a maximum of one month per claim.<\/li>\n<li>In local shopping centres, there is a limit of 3 days a week. At other locations, there is a limit of 4 days a week.<\/li>\n<li>Food trucks that you hire on a temporary basis for a private party or business event fall under this category if the food truck is situated on public land.
