Often, with just a few alterations to the fa\u00e7ade, a property can regain some of its former glory.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i2\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Conditions\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i2\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <p>You will be eligible for a grant if the ground-floor shop front is brought back into harmony with the upper floors, which are often still historic. This includes the layout of the shop front, the materials used, the removal of canopies and conservatories, the colour scheme and advertising displays.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of the grant is based on the actual costs incurred and is intended for fa\u00e7ade alterations to historic buildings in Apeldoorn city centre.<\/p>\n<h3>The contribution amounts to:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u20ac1,500 per linear metre of fa\u00e7ade;<\/li>\n<li>Up to 50% of the investment costs;<\/li>\n<li>A maximum of \u20ac10,000 per fa\u00e7ade, with a corner property counting as two fa\u00e7ades.<\/li>\n<li>Additional funding may be available for the restoration of historic features and the removal of non-historic conservatories.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The document \u2018<a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/bouwstenen_voor_de_binnenstad_2020.pdf\">Building blocks for the city centre (pdf, 7.6 MB)<\/a>\u2019 offers inspiration on the measures that can be taken to restore fa\u00e7ades to their former glory. The local authority processes applications in the order in which they are received and completes the process within 8 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The application must, in any event, be accompanied by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A set of specifications or a technical description;<\/li>\n<li>Photographs and drawings showing both the existing and the new situation (scale 1:100);<\/li>\n<li>A quotation itemised by material and labour costs and VAT, insofar as the VAT cannot be offset;<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the required licences;<\/li>\n<li>If the applicant is a business: a fully completed and legally signed de minimis declaration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our Culture and Heritage advisers will be happy to assist you with historical research, the preliminary design, structural engineering matters and applying for the grant. We therefore recommend that you discuss your plans with a member of staff at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apeldoorn.nl\/beheer\/beslisbomen\/bb-afspraak\/afspraak-apeldoorns-omgevingsloket\/\">Environment counter<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i4\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Report as complete\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i4\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <p>You must submit a completion notification as soon as possible, and no later than 8 weeks after the work has been completed, via the <a class=\"externe-link\" href=\"\/subsidie-vastelling-wijziging\">Online form for reporting completion<\/a>.
