This remains in force, even if you have submitted a notification regarding fire safety.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i2\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>When does a notification regarding fire safety apply?\t\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i2\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t\t  <p>Consider the following situations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are more than 10 people sleeping in the building (not a residential building, but a commercial or care facility).<\/li>\n<li>During the day, there are more than 10 people present who are under 12 years of age, or who have a physical or intellectual disability.<\/li>\n<li>There are more than 50 people in a building at any one time (for example, a catering venue).<\/li>\n<li>A residential property is used to let rooms to more than four tenants.<\/li>\n<li>You are applying the principle of equivalence (technical application).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i3\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>How do you apply?\t\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i3\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t\t  <p>You can submit the notification via the Omgevingsloket using DigiD or eHerkenning. Search for the term \u2018fire safety\u2019 and select \u2018safe use of a building in terms of fire safety_notification\u2019. Complete the form and attach the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A site plan (scale 1:500\/1:1000) showing the location of the building.<\/li>\n<li>A floor plan of the building showing the fire safety markings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The notification must be submitted at least 4 weeks before you start using the building. It is not part of the planning permission application, but can be submitted via the Omgevingsloket.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i4\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>What happens next?\t\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i4\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t\t  <p>The local authority will check that everything is correct and complies with the regulations. If everything is in order, you will receive confirmation. If not, you will need to amend your notification.
