You (or your partner) are not yet entitled to the AOW state pension.<\/li>\n<li>Over the past three years, your income has been lower than or equal to the income threshold for your circumstances.\u00a0<a href=\"\/regelen-en-weten\/werk-inkomen-en-uitkering\/hulp-bij-een-laag-inkomen\/individuele-inkomenstoeslag\/inkomensgrenzen-individuele-inkomenstoeslag\/\">View the income thresholds<\/a><\/li>\n<li>You have tried to increase your income.<\/li>\n<li>There is little chance that you will earn more in the future.<\/li>\n<li>Your assets are below the asset limit set out in the Participation Act:\n<ul>\n<li>\u20ac8,000 if you live alone and have no children under the age of 18 living at home.<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac16,000 if you are a single parent with children under the age of 18 living at home.<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac16,000 if you are married or cohabiting. In that case, we will take into account both your and your partner\u2019s assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>You (or your partner) are not studying at the time of application. Are you a student? A sanction is a reduction in your benefit because you have failed to comply with the work requirements attached to your benefit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Do you not meet the above conditions for automatic eligibility?<\/h3>\n<p>In that case, you can apply for the allowance yourself online by clicking the orange button at the top of the page. You will need your DigiD to do this. The member of staff will assess straight away whether you will also be eligible for the automatic individual income allowance in the coming years. If so, we will include this in our decision.<\/p>\n<p>Please note!<br \/>From October 2025, a member of staff will assess your application. This means you will no longer receive an automated decision. The conditions remain the same.<\/p>\n<p>You will receive a letter setting out the decision within 8 weeks.<\/p>\n<h3>How much will your allowance be?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u20ac350 if you live alone and have no children under the age of 18 living at home.<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac450 if you live alone and have child(ren) under the age of 18 living at home.<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac500 if you are married or living with a partner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Are you, or do you have, an administrator?<\/h3>\n<p>An administrator can also submit an application online via the orange button at the top of the page.
