This could, for example, be a neighbour who has had her curtains drawn for some time. Or an acquaintance who has become socially isolated and is neglecting themselves. If a care worker is known to the person concerned, it is of course better to contact them directly.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i2\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>How does the Advice and Reporting Centre work?\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i2\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <p>The caller will be put through to an experienced support worker. The support worker will either offer advice to the caller or forward the report to the local authority where the person concerned lives. In the latter case, the local authority will assess at short notice what support is required in that specific situation.<\/p>\n<p>If you are making a report on behalf of someone else and this report is submitted to the local authority, you will not receive any further feedback due to the GDPR (data protection legislation). Early detection is key to this. The Advice and Reporting Centre for Confused Behaviour was set up to ensure these concerns are channelled to the right place. This enables residents and professionals to raise their concerns in good time, allowing the local authority to provide support or involve healthcare professionals where necessary.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i4\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Compulsory Mental Health Care Act\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i4\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <p>Do you suspect that someone needs compulsory care? If so, you can also report this to the Advice and Reporting Centre for Confused Behaviour.
