Shops in Apeldoorn may set their own opening hours within these times. If you wish to deviate from these times, you will need an exemption.<\/p>\n<p>You can apply for two types of exemption from the Shop Opening Hours Act. These allow you to keep your shop open outside normal opening hours.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An exemption for night shops (between 22:00 and 06:00)<\/li>\n<li>An exemption for special occasions of a temporary nature. Examples include the launch of a new book or game at midnight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apeldoorn City Council will assess your request on the basis of the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disruption to the residential and living environment in the surrounding area<\/li>\n<li>Disturbance of public order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can apply for an exemption online. We will process your application within 8 weeks.
