People who want to influence policy \u2013 and their local environment \u2013 to ensure it remains vibrant or becomes even more so. We are happy to support these people.<\/p>\n<p>For active residents, associations and village and neighbourhood councils that regularly contribute to Apeldoorn, there is therefore the \u2018Community Participation\u2019 grant scheme. Through this scheme, we support important volunteer networks and key figures in the neighbourhood.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Under the Community Participation Scheme, grants have been awarded for, amongst other things, residents\u2019 evenings, annual activities for older people and young people, expenses for community representatives, neighbourhood newspapers and community centre activities.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the\u00a0<a class=\"external externe-link\" title=\"View the Community Participation Grant Scheme\" href=\"https:\/\/lokaleregelgeving.overheid.nl\/CVDR652443\/1\">Community Participation Grant Scheme<\/a>\u00a0is to encourage, broaden and expand participation in and from local areas, so that the local authority and residents work together to create vibrant streets, neighbourhoods, districts and villages.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i2\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Conditions\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i2\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <p>The grant is awarded for (a specific purpose within) a particular area, but also to organisations that are committed to a cause across the whole municipality. Other people must also be enthusiastic about it and support the idea or the activities. Or, if, for example, you wish to represent their interests, they must actively agree to you doing so on their behalf, meaning they form your support base.<\/p>\n<p>It is about contributing to the vitality of an area. And about the public interest. The aim is not to make a commercial profit. This could be a street, a village, or even the whole of Apeldoorn. To make the grant application process as clear as possible, please follow this step-by-step guide:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Read the <a class=\"external externe-link\" href=\"https:\/\/lokaleregelgeving.overheid.nl\/CVDR652443\/1\">grant conditions<\/a> Read it carefully and make sure your application meets all the requirements.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Log in with DigiD or E-herkenning<\/li>\n<li>Please complete the form that appears once you have logged in. Please attach the activity description and budget as described in the following steps.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Describe the activity:\u00a0<br \/>\u2013 What sort of activities would you like to organise?<br \/>\u2013 Why are you doing this?<br \/>\u2013 Who is the target audience? If applicable: how many members does your organisation have?\u00a0<br \/>\u2013 Which organisations do you work with?\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Draw up a budget:\u00a0<br \/>\u2013 Draw up a list of all costs and categorise them (volunteer appreciation\/expenses, material costs, promotional costs, administration\/management costs)<br \/>\u2013 Make a list of all sources of income and categorise them (crowdfunding, grants, personal contributions, etc.)<br \/>\u2013 Set out all income alongside the estimated costs of the activity in a budget summary.<\/li>\n<li>Are you a foundation?
