When calculating the amount of the subsidy, the council uses the nationally set hourly rate for day care as the maximum \u2013 \u20ac11.23 in 2026. The contribution paid by parents is deducted from this amount.<\/p>\n<h3>Applications for 2026<\/h3>\n<p>Nationally set hourly rate for day care: \u20ac11.23<\/p>\n<p>When submitting your application, please enclose Appendix 1, in which you explain how you have calculated the grant amount. In Appendix 2, please state the income bracket to which the parents of the toddlers for whom you are applying belong.<\/p>\n<p>This information provides the local authority with an overview of the families benefiting from the subsidy scheme for pre-school childcare costs. If the hourly rate is higher, the subsidy will be calculated on the basis of the maximum hourly rate set at national level.
