Under the Environment Act, the action plan is a mandatory programme and serves as the operational implementation of the Environmental Vision. The action plan sets out policy to reduce environmental noise and the proposed measures. The aim is to reduce the number of people experiencing nuisance, serious nuisance and sleep disturbance. This will improve health outcomes. The measures described in the action plan target relevant noise sources within the municipal boundaries of Apeldoorn. The focus is on preventing and reducing traffic noise from municipal roads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"al _p_al\">The Apeldoorn Noise Action Plan 2024\u20132028 will come into force on 13 May 2025.
