This will create a place in Apeldoorn where people can live, work, explore, learn and socialise. A special place full of life, creativity and remarkable architecture. A place with character and a unique atmosphere.<\/p>\n<h2>Molenstraat, City Centre<\/h2>\n<p>The initiators \u2013 Ontwikkelings Maatschappij Apeldoorn (OMA), Trebbe and housing association De Goede Woning \u2013 are set to build homes on Molenstraat-Centrum. The Molenstraat Centrum sub-development is the first project to be realised within the Veldhuis area development. It forms the gateway to the future Veldhuis. The focus is on a development of high architectural and urban planning quality, with a link to the area\u2019s history. The plan comprises two residential blocks with a total of 76 homes \u2013 both rental and owner-occupied \u2013 in the affordable price segment. The planning permission was granted in May 2025 and the site was handed over, ready for construction, in November 2025.<\/p>\n<h2>Start of Construction<\/h2>\n<p>On 14 November 2025, the local community was informed by the developer of the start of construction on the Veldhuis Molenstraat Centrum development. The entire construction project is expected to take at least 1.5 to 2 years. And 16 flats with shared entrance halls, which will be sold as owner-occupied homes in the affordable segment via Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Apeldoorn. We are delighted that the realisation of these homes is now on the horizon.
