That is why the electric bus route is being rerouted to a much greener Kalverstraat.<\/p>\n<p>Hofstraat-Kanaalstraat is set to become a green and welcoming park \u2013 a place you\u2019ll enjoy visiting and want to return to. A place where you can go for a run, stop for a drink after a day\u2019s shopping, or play a game of cards with your neighbours outside your front door on a summer\u2019s evening. What exactly will the park look like? A great deal of work has been done on this in collaboration with business owners, property owners, residents, stakeholders and interested parties.<\/p>\n<p>We have now moved on a step further and have developed the preliminary sketches into preliminary designs. With the city park, Apeldoorn is continuing to develop into a unique city with a distinct character. A city centre that remains easily accessible is part of that. You can read more about this at\u00a0<a href=\"\/bestuur-organisatie\/college-van-b-en-w\/beleidsstukken-en-visies\/verkeer-veiligheid\/mobiliteitsvisie\/\">apeldoorn.nl\/mobility-vision<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Apeldoorn City Park\u2019 development plan forms part of the Environmental Vision.\u00a0<a href=\"\/bestuur-organisatie\/college-van-b-en-w\/beleidsstukken-en-visies\/economie-ontwikkeling\/omgevingsvisie-2040\/\">The Environmental Vision<\/a>\u00a0describes how Apeldoorn is set to develop in the run-up to 2040. Apeldoorn\u2019s city centre forms an important part of this. That is why a separate development plan has been drawn up for this area.<\/p>\n<h2>Planning for the development of Griftpark<\/h2>\n<p>If everything goes according to plan, work on Kalverstraat will take place in 2026.
