This wastewater is treated at the treatment plant. Rainwater currently also flows into this sewer system. By installing an infiltration sewer, the rainwater is collected in a separate sewer system so that it is gradually absorbed into the groundwater. During heavy rainfall, this reduces the impact on the environment and means less wastewater needs to be treated at the treatment plant.<\/p>\n<p>The work on Tulpenlaan provides a good opportunity to disconnect your home\u2019s rainwater pipes from the mains drainage system as well. Many residents attended. We are delighted with the good turnout and the many comments and questions we received.<\/p>\n<h2>Frequently Asked Questions and Answers<\/h2>\n<p>During the residents\u2019 evening, residents gave their feedback on the initial design. Below are some of the topics that were discussed.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div data-acfblock=\"Uitklapper-1\" class=\"section section--blue\">\r\n\t<div class=\"container\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"row justify-content-center\">\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col editor  elementOnTop\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion\" id=\"accordion1\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i1\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i1\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i1\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Road profile (carriageway and pavements)\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i1\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i1\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <p>In our original design, we proposed narrowing the carriageway from 5.90 metres to 5.30 metres. We did this in order to widen both pavements. This led several residents to express concerns about whether their garages and driveways would still be easily accessible. We have looked into this and believe these concerns are justified. We have therefore narrowed the carriageway to 5.60 metres instead of 5.30 metres in the revised design. This allows us to make the pavement on one side 30 cm wider (one paving stone), ensuring that garages and driveways remain easily accessible.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i2\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Facade garden\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i2\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <p>Several residents have asked us about the possibility of creating a front-of-house garden. This is certainly possible in some cases. If residents wish to do so, they can let the project manager know (see contact details in the letter). The project manager will assess the situation. If there is sufficient space for a fa\u00e7ade garden, we will create it whilst the street is being redesigned. We will work with you to decide on the plants to be included. Once it has been created, the homeowner will be responsible for maintaining the fa\u00e7ade garden.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i3\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Accessibility during the works\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i3\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <p>The works will be carried out in phases. The contractor will start at Koninginnelaan and work towards Loseweg in phases. The requirements of the emergency services will be taken into account.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst work is being carried out in your neighbourhood, you will temporarily be unable to access your home by car. You can park your car in another street or further down the same street. Your home will still be accessible on foot or by bike.<\/p>\n<p>Around 10 days before work begins, you will receive a letter containing information about the schedule, phasing and access. This letter will also tell you where you can place your waste bin whilst we are carrying out work at your property.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i4\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Structural reports prior to the start of the refurbishment\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i4\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <p>Before we start the work, we will arrange for structural surveys to be carried out to document the structural condition of your property. This will enable us to prove, in the event of any damage occurring during the work, that it was not present before the work began.<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, the contractor carrying out the work will proceed with caution, but as there are many older buildings on Tulpenlaan, we are taking this precautionary measure before the work begins.<\/p>\n<h3>How is a structural survey carried out?<\/h3>\n<p>A structural survey is a record of all structural defects in an adjacent house or plot of land, set out in writing and supported by photographs. The camera will always zoom in on any defects; your personal belongings will therefore not appear in the photographs. The report can only be viewed by the owner\/occupier of the property and the local authority.<\/p>\n<p>We will let you know in advance who will be visiting you and when for this structural survey.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div data-acfblock=\"Tekst\" class=\"section a section--blue e-tekst\">\r\n\t<div class=\"container\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"row justify-content-center elementOnTop\">\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col article-content__content-custom-1220 editor elementOnTop\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<h2>Revised design<\/h2>\r\n<p>Where possible, we have amended the design in response to comments from residents. In it, we explained that the schedule had unfortunately been delayed.<\/p>\n<p>Liander is set to replace gas pipes and electricity cables on Tulpenlaan. We will only be able to start the redevelopment once Liander\u2019s work has been completed. Unfortunately, Liander has recently indicated that they will not be able to commence their work on Tulpenlaan in the near future. As a result, we will not be able to start the redevelopment in 2025. We are very disappointed by this.<\/p>\n<p>We are continuing our discussions with Liander regarding the schedule.
