These stones help to reduce traffic noise and, at the same time, act as a speed-reducing measure.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i2\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Kerbs and pavements\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i2\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i2\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <h3>Are enough speed bumps being installed to reduce speed?<\/h3>\n<p>Yes, speed bumps have been marked out at regular intervals. In addition, the junctions have also been raised; we call these junction plateaus. These plateaus also reduce speed and indicate where the speed bumps are to be placed. As there is also heavy goods traffic, a good balance has been sought between comfort and road safety.<\/p>\n<h3>Why not use road narrowings instead of speed bumps?<\/h3>\n<p>Due to the large number of cyclists, we have decided not to include any narrowings in the design. This ensures it remains safe for cyclists.<\/p>\n<h3>The pavement is sometimes very narrow<\/h3>\n<p>That\u2019s right; the design calls for a single, full-width pavement on one side of the street, so that the street is wide enough and safe throughout.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i3\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Green\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i3\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i3\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <h3>Has a decision already been made about which types of trees are to be planted?<\/h3>\n<p>In the final design, we set out which species of trees will be planted. In doing so, we take into account light levels, sightlines and sufficient space for the trees to grow. The trees will be positioned so that they blend in with the streetscape.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Have the locations of the trees been finalised yet?<\/h3>\n<p>No, the locations currently marked on the map are potential locations. The final location will depend on the position of cables and pipes. We will take this into account in the final design.<\/p>\n<h3>Will there be greenery in the narrow sections?<\/h3>\n<p>No narrowings have been included in the design.<\/p>\n<h3>The verge near the Dekamarkt entrance is impractical<\/h3>\n<p>We are still looking at the layout near the entrance to the Dekamarkt.<\/p>\n<h3>The green strip in front of number 94 makes the pavement narrow<\/h3>\n<p>It was decided to provide a single, full-width pavement, which is situated opposite number 94.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t  <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse-u1-i4\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t  <span class=\"accordion-toggle\"><\/span>Parking and driveways\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t  <\/h2>\n\t\t  <div id=\"collapse-u1-i4\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-u1-i4\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\t\t\t  <h3>A green area has been marked on the map at number 167 \u2013 will the driveway still be there?<\/h3>\n<p>Yes, the entrance will remain, and we will incorporate this into the final design.<\/p>\n<h3>The driveways for house numbers 117, 140 and 144 are missing from the design<\/h3>\n<p>The access points have been marked on the final design.<\/p>\n<h3>Is it possible to create a driveway whilst the redevelopment is underway?<\/h3>\n<p>No, you need a permit for a new driveway. You can apply for this via www.apeldoorn.nl\/vergunningen.<\/p>\n<h3>Does the design actually include enough parking spaces?<\/h3>\n<p>We have decided to have an external agency carry out an additional parking survey to ascertain the number of parking spaces.<\/p>\n<h3>Will it be possible to park in my front garden later on?<\/h3>\n<p>Parking in the front garden where there is no driveway is not permitted.<\/p>\n<h3>Will there be clearly marked parking spaces so that driveways aren\u2019t blocked?<\/h3>\n<p>Yes, by using different materials, we make it clear where parking is and isn\u2019t permitted.<\/p>\n<h3>Is it possible to extend the licence hours beyond office hours?<\/h3>\n<p>This falls outside the scope of our project plan for 1e Wormenseweg. Please contact us on 14 055 regarding this matter. Select option 6.<\/p>\n<h3>Is parking in the bay at number 236 permitted, even though it is partly on the junction platform?<\/h3>\n<p>Yes, this is permitted. We are installing a separate sewer for rainwater. Electricity and gas are the responsibility of the utility companies and are not part of this project<\/p>\n<h3>Flooding during heavy rainfall<\/h3>\n<p>We are improving the drainage system. Local residents will be notified in good time.<\/p>\n<h3>Will businesses remain accessible whilst the work is being carried out?<\/h3>\n<p>The works will be carried out in several phases, so that businesses and local residents remain accessible as far as possible.<\/p>\n<h3>How long will the work take?<\/h3>\n<p>The work is expected to take about a year.
