They get on well with one another and know where to find each other. However, there are also residents with concerns, such as whether they have enough income. Fortunately, there are various forms of support and opportunities to socialise in the neighbourhood. We can build on that.<\/p>\n<h2>Traffic and transport<\/h2>\n<p>Road safety is a cause for concern. People drive too fast in some places. Some crossings are dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>People also find it a problem that there are fewer and fewer buses running. We need other forms of transport.<\/p>\n<h2>Safety<\/h2>\n<p>Residents generally feel safe in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood app helps to ensure this. However, they would like to see the community police officer and the neighbourhood warden be more visible.<\/p>\n<h2>Housing and sustainability<\/h2>\n<p>As many houses are older, they are sometimes still poorly insulated. Owners of owner-occupied homes would like advice on how to address this. And tenants would like to see improvements made to their homes.<\/p>\n<h2>Outdoor space<\/h2>\n<p>Generally speaking, residents are happy with the outdoor space. However, there is a demand for more play areas for young families. And in some places, parking is a problem.<\/p>\n<h2>Working together<\/h2>\n<p class=\"Basisalinea\">Together with residents and organisations, we\u2019re setting to work to make the neighbourhood a little bit nicer. \u2018Contributors\u2019 play a major role in this: residents who actively contribute ideas. We\u2019ve drawn up a plan of action setting out the initiatives we\u2019ll be undertaking.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"Basisalinea\">Agenda<\/h2>\n<p>The following areas will receive particular attention in the coming years. First and foremost, we are working to maintain social cohesion in the neighbourhood. We will also be addressing traffic, transport and local facilities. We are looking into ways of improving the sense of safety. We will be inviting the \u2019contributors\u2019 from Brinkhorst and Driehuizen to attend.<\/td>\n<td>Stimenz, partners in thinking<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Support for residents who are struggling to make ends meet<\/td>\n<td>We help schools, social organisations, GPs and others to spot when people are struggling to make ends meet. We\u2019re going to do more to show residents what Samen055 is all about.<\/td>\n<td>Samen055, all neighbourhood professionals<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Free school breakfast for those who need it<\/td>\n<td>Some children go to school without having had breakfast. Sprengenpark Primary School makes sure they get breakfast. We are looking into whether this is also needed at other schools, and whether those schools need support with this.<\/td>\n<td>Primary schools, local authority<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>More places for people to meet in the neighbourhood<\/td>\n<td>Sprengenpark Primary School has spaces that are suitable for neighbourhood activities. We are looking into whether these could serve as an additional meeting place in the neighbourhood. The former pigeon-racing centre was also used as a meeting place. We are also installing temporary speed cameras and signs in the neighbourhood. This will help to reduce speeding.<\/td>\n<td>Municipality<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Make adjustments to the junction with Prinses Beatrixlaan if necessary<\/td>\n<td>We are looking into whether the junction of Prins Willem Alexanderlaan and Prinses Beatrixlaan needs to be modified. This could then be carried out at the same time as the planned high-rise development on this avenue.<\/td>\n<td>Municipality<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Fewer parking spaces along Groenewoud<\/td>\n<td>Residents of Groenewoud face significant parking problems. Nor do they know where to report any nuisance. The police officer and the enforcement officer try to make themselves seen as much as possible at neighbourhood meetings.
