At the same time, however, there are things they feel are missing. For example, a gym, places for young people to meet and adequate home care.<\/p>\n<h2>Traffic and transport<\/h2>\n<p>Public transport is not always sufficient for people without their own transport. There are alternatives, such as shared taxis, but not everyone is aware of them. Furthermore, there are concerns about road safety at certain points and along certain (cycle) routes.<\/p>\n<h2>Housing and sustainability<\/h2>\n<p>Most residents are keen to continue living in Klarenbeek. However, this does require more suitable housing, for young and old alike. Residents are fine with new-builds, but only in moderation. Many people are trying to live more sustainably. They would like advice and tips on this. And some residents feel that the maintenance of public green spaces could be improved. Fortunately, local farmers are actively helping with this.<\/p>\n<h2>Wolthuis<\/h2>\n<p>The Wolthuis neighbourhood has a character all of its own. Residents get on well with one another. However, they feel less connected to Klarenbeek and Apeldoorn. They sometimes feel forgotten and inadequately supported by the authorities. This calls for extra attention.<\/p>\n<h2>Taking action together<\/h2>\n<p>The village council and the local authority have jointly drawn up an action plan. This plan also takes Wolthuis into account. As part of Klarenbeek lies within the municipality of Voorst, we have involved them in drawing up this action plan. Together, we are working towards a bright future for Klarenbeek, Wolthuis and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<h2>Agenda<\/h2>\n<p>There are five items on the agenda. We are working to improve the social environment so that people can get on well with one another. We are focusing on traffic, transport and safety. We are putting energy into housing and sustainability. We are investing time in public spaces and local facilities. And we are working with the residents of Wolthuis to find out what they need.<\/p>\n<p>Good to know: if an action point says \u2018municipality\u2019, we mean Apeldoorn. The plan is to organise these more often.<\/li>\n<li>We are looking into the possibility of setting up a youth panel. Residents would also like the \u2018built-up area\u2019 sign to be moved.<\/li>\n<li>We are looking into whether pedestrian crossings could be installed on the Hoofdweg near the supermarket, on Broekstraat and on Korenbloem. We are also considering whether speed displays are needed.<\/li>\n<li>If new buildings are to be constructed at the Korenbloem, we will carefully consider how residents can leave the neighbourhood safely. We would prefer the route not to go via the Korenbloem, as it is more difficult to join or cross the main road there.<\/li>\n<li>We are investigating whether the junction of Woudweg and Klarenbeekseweg can be made safer.<\/li>\n<li>Kanaal Zuid is to become a 60km road.
