    What is LEADER?<\/h2>\r\n

    At the heart of the LEADER approach is the drawing up of a Local Development Strategy (LDS) by the area. Implementation of the LDS is the responsibility of the LEADER Action Group (LAG). It identifies opportunities for new projects, contributes to their development and assesses which projects are eligible for a LEADER grant. The LAG consists of local residents, representatives of civil society organisations, entrepreneurs and public authorities. The LAG members use their knowledge and networks to work together with residents, entrepreneurs and organisations in the IJssel Valley to shape the future of the area. To this end, the LAG promotes initiatives, connects networks and ideas, and encourages the exchange of knowledge and experience.<\/p>\n

    The IJssel Valley LEADER area<\/h2>\n

    The IJsselvallei LEADER area comprises the rural areas of the municipalities of Heerde, Epe, Voorst, Brummen and Apeldoorn.<\/p>\n

    What does the IJsselvallei Local Development Strategy (LOS) contain?<\/h2>\n

    For the period up to and including 2027, the IJssel Valley region has drawn up a Local Development Strategy (LOS)<\/a> drawn up. The Local Development Strategy sets out the objectives the LAG will work towards, how it will do so, and the criteria projects must meet to be eligible for a LEADER grant. In addition to meeting the objectives of the LOS, projects must also demonstrate sufficient LEADER characteristics, such as community support, innovation, collaboration and an integrated approach.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n
