This is usually the owner or tenant. A planning permission is issued in the name of the project initiator, and the fees charged by the local authority are also payable by the project initiator. Please note that once an application has been submitted, we can no longer change the name on the permit.<\/p>\n<h4>Authorised representative<\/h4>\n<p>The project initiator may authorise someone to handle the application on their behalf. The authorised representative has almost the same rights as the project initiator. These include submitting applications and notifications, amending and withdrawing applications, and initiating new applications within the project. If an authorised representative is involved in an application, the local authority will communicate with them whilst the application is being processed. The final decision will be sent to both the authorised representative and the project initiator.<\/p>\n<h4>How can you authorise someone via the Omgevingsloket?<\/h4>\n<p>You can do this via the national Omgevingsloket. You can authorise a person or organisation. You do this by adding a participant to the project and assigning them the role of \u2018authorised representative\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Scenario 1: the applicant initiates the application and wishes to authorise someone<br \/>\nLog in to <a class=\"external external link\" href=\"https:\/\/omgevingswet.overheid.nl\/\">\u2018My Environmental Services Portal\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the name of the project to which you wish to add a participant.<\/li>\n<li>Under \u2018My projects\u2019, click on the \u2018Participants\u2019 button.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Add participant\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the email address of the person or organisation you wish to authorise.<\/li>\n<li>Select the \u2018Authorised User\u2019 role.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u2018Send activation code\u2019 button.<\/li>\n<li>The authorised representative then logs in to \u2018Mijn Omgevingsloket\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The authorised representative clicks on \u2018Enter activation code\u2019 and enters the activation code they have received.<\/li>\n<li>The authorised representative has been added to the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scenario 2: the authorised representative can also initiate the application<br \/>\nThe authorised representative must then still add the applicant. Only then will you be able to inspect the documents.
