DOCUMENTS FOR DISCUSSION

1. Summer Letter 2026

Proposal from the Finance and Control and Group Affairs departments:

  1. To adopt the summer report and the accompanying financial outlook, which will provide the council with an up-to-date picture of the state of the municipality’s finances in Apeldoorn, as well as an initial (financial) interpretation of the coalition agreement as a prelude to the 2027–2030 Medium-Term Budget Plan;
  1. And to send this to the council.

Decision: The Executive Committee decides in accordance with the proposal, subject to the inclusion of editorial amendments.

2. First management report

  1. To adopt the First Management Report 2026;
  2. To present the First Administrative Report 2026, together with the accompanying letter to the council, to the council;
  3. To request the Presidium to submit the 2026-18 budget amendments to the council for adoption, together with the attached draft council proposal and resolution.

Decision: The Executive Committee decides in accordance with the proposal, subject to the inclusion of editorial amendments.

3. Council letter: ‘Refurbishment of emergency shelter halted following discovery of asbestos’

Council letter: ‘Refurbishment of emergency accommodation halted following discovery of asbestos’

Proposal from the Communications and Cabinet Affairs Department:

  1. To adopt this council memorandum, which informs the council of the discovery of asbestos during the refurbishment of the temporary emergency accommodation at Waleweingaarde. As a precautionary measure, the residents are being relocated to another COA site;
  2. To approve the forwarding of this council letter to the council.

Decision: The Executive Committee decides in accordance with the proposal, subject to the inclusion of editorial amendments.
