There are two ways to request a copy of a deed:
Online
You can apply for a civil registry extract online (using DigiD). You will not receive the extract digitally. The extract will be sent by post to your home address within three working days.
Desk
You can also visit the reception desk. To do so, please book an appointment online.
Take to appointment:
- A valid identity document
- A means of payment (preferring debit cards to cash)
You will be given the statement straight away.
Authorisation
You can also authorise someone else to request a copy of a civil registry certificate. The authorised representative must apply in person at the counter and will need the following:
- A valid form of identification in their own name
- A valid form of identification belonging to you
- A completed and signed authorisation form (pdf, 160 kB)
The cost of the copy is €17.80.
If it later transpires that you do not need the copy or that you have requested the wrong document, we are unfortunately unable to refund the costs. Costs will have been incurred in retrieving your details.
