TAM Environmental Plan: De Maten High-Voltage Project

At various stages of the process, you will have the opportunity to give your views on the underground route of the high-voltage power line. Below is an overview of the key stages leading up to the adoption of the environmental plan.

Meeting on 7 May 2025

During this public consultation meeting, we presented the underground route of the high-voltage power line. You were able to give your feedback in person to staff from Apeldoorn Council. You could also send an email to hoogspanning@apeldoorn.nl.

Draft environmental plan on public display

From the end of October 2025, the TAM Environmental Plan will be available for public inspection for six weeks. The publication will be announced in the Municipal Gazette and on the council’s website. You may submit your views on this.

  • You can do this online using the form Comments on the environmental plan (log in with DigiD).
  • In writing: please send your comments to the municipal council, PO Box 9033, 7300 ES Apeldoorn, quoting ‘comments on the draft TAM environmental plan, Chapter 22o’. The letter setting out your views must be signed by you and must include at least your name, address and place of residence, and, if possible, your telephone number and email address.
  • In person: make an appointment with the relevant member of staff.

It is not possible to submit digital comments via email.

You can find the TAM environmental plan on our website amendments to the environmental plan and on the national website.

The draft TAM environmental plan can also be viewed online at the Apeldoorn Environmental Service Centre. You can only visit the Apeldoorn Environmental Service Centre by appointment. Information on making an appointment and the location can be found at Appointment at the Environmental Services Centre.

Adoption

The municipal council will consider any comments received and adopt the environmental plan. Adoption is scheduled for January 2026.

Occupation

Once the local council has adopted the environmental plan, it will be available for public inspection for six weeks. If you disagree with the adopted environmental plan, you may lodge an appeal with the Administrative Law Division of the Council of State during that period.

Planning

We expect to start work on laying the cables underground in early 2027. In preparation for this, we are already beginning to carry out minor works on both sides of the motorway. We will be able to set up the worksites by the end of 2026.

The schedule is subject to change, for example due to legal proceedings or agreements we need to reach with the parties involved. We will publish the most up-to-date schedule on our website.
