Why do a traineeship?
If you start a traineeship with Apeldoorn City Council, you’ll get to explore various roles over the course of two years. You can work in a range of different departments, for example:
- Helping residents and business owners get back on their feet by working at our customer contact centre
- To provide administrative support for fleet management.
- To act as a point of contact and handle the administration for our residents’ care applications.
- Assist with website management and communications.
- Making changes to our Basic Register of Persons and carrying out research into matters such as property vacancy rates, as and when necessary.
- Carrying out tasks in financial administration or contract management.
- Supporting colleagues at our service point.
- To contribute to and support projects.
- To provide administrative support for Bibob investigations.
You’ve had enough of it. School and all that. Or maybe your first job isn’t quite what you expected after all. Time for something real. Take your first step at Apeldoorn Council!
- You’ll be working at the town hall in various teams and roles.
- Meanwhile, you’ll learn skills that will serve you well for the rest of your life.
- You’ll start alongside seven other trainees and learn from experienced colleagues
- And yes: you’ll still get your salary.
