Child Health Centre Assistant

From the initial check-up to scheduling a follow-up appointment: a well-organised health clinic starts with you. As a health clinic assistant, you’ll support parents, children and colleagues, and ensure that every consultation runs efficiently and smoothly. With your welcoming manner, attention to detail and organisational skills, you’ll make a difference every day to young families in Apeldoorn.

This is your role as a health centre assistant
As a health clinic assistant, you are often the first point of contact for parents and children at the health clinic. You greet them, give them a warm welcome and support the paediatrician and paediatric nurse during consultation hours. Thanks to your flexible attitude and meticulous approach, the consultations run smoothly and efficiently.

Your duties will be varied:

  • You will welcome parents and children to the child health clinic and ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • You measure and weigh babies, toddlers and young children and carefully enter the data into the online child record.
  • You will book appointments and handle the administrative aspects of consultations.
  • You identify any issues and discuss them with colleagues.
  • You will be working at various health clinic locations across Apeldoorn.
