Communicating with parents about food, drink, exercise and sleep

The OK-GEZOND app offers parent-child activities and practical tips on healthy eating and drinking, getting enough exercise and sleeping well for toddlers. The app has been developed for childcare staff and is a simple tool to help them work with parents to promote a healthy lifestyle for their toddlers.

Promoting healthy habits together

Learning to adopt a healthy lifestyle at a young age is important for healthy development. This is because habits later in life are largely shaped by upbringing and experiences during (early) childhood. It helps children when childcare professionals and parents work together to encourage healthy habits. The OK-GEZOND app is a practical tool for this. It contains parent-child activities, animations, information and tips on healthy eating, exercise and sleep for children aged 2 to 4.

The app is available to download for FREE from the App Store (Apple) or the Google Play Store (Android).
