- You can register from the age of 18.
- Residents of the municipality of Apeldoorn are given priority over residents of other municipalities.
- The purchase agreement will include an obligation to live in the property for a period of 5 years.
If you wish to register as a caravan dweller, you must provide evidence that you are a caravan dweller. You are a caravan dweller if:
- Do you currently live on a caravan site that is registered with the local authority, or
- You used to live on a caravan site that is known to the local authority, or
- Your parents or grandparents live, or have lived, on a caravan site.
We check this against the address details in the Basic Register of Persons (BRP). That is why you must provide a BRP extract Please enclose this with your application. You can request an extract from the BRP showing your residential history from your local council. If you would like an extract from the BRP for your parents or grandparents, they can request this themselves from their local council. If you have authorisation from your parents or grandparents, including a copy of a valid identity document, you can also request an extract from the BRP yourself.
- You must be able to demonstrate that 70% of your annual turnover comes from operating a fairground attraction and that you are registered as a fairground operator with the Chamber of Commerce. If this is not the case, we ask you to demonstrate that you work for more than 140 days a year in a fairground business.
- If you are the child (aged 18 or over) of a fairground operator and are not registered with the Chamber of Commerce, you may only register if you are a partner in a general partnership (v.o.f.) of a fairground company.
- If you are a retired fairground operator, you may only apply for a residential pitch intended for fairground operators.
If you do not meet these requirements, we will be unable to accept your application for inclusion in the register.
