You can apply for a public charging point if:
- you own an electric vehicle or are planning to purchase one with a minimum all-electric range of 45 km.
- you do not have a driveway or parking space on your own property.
- lives in the municipality or works in the municipality for at least 20 hours a week.
- there is not yet a charging point within 250 metres’ walking distance.
If there is a charging point within a 250-metre walking distance of your home or workplace, you can charge your electric vehicle there. If this charging point is in very high demand, we will work with the charging providers to assess whether an additional charging point is necessary and feasible.
- If you meet the criteria, you can apply for a public charging point.
- It takes at least 3 to 4 months to install a charging point from the time of application.
- For electric charging points in a paid parking or permit zone, payment and/or a parking permit is required, unless otherwise stated.
Applying for and installing a public charging point is free of charge. Further information on charging rates can be found on the provider’s website.
