Apeldoorn is developing together

Under the banner ‘Apeldoorn Develops’, the council shares the story of Apeldoorn’s development with residents and businesses. We believe it is important to ensure consistency in our communications in certain areas. We therefore set out requirements for the design and placement of construction hoardings, site fence banners and/or stickers for each construction phase. These apply to you as a developer, as set out in, amongst other things, the letter of intent and/or a preliminary agreement (AO).

As a developer, you will also need to deal with public participation. In some cases, we as a local authority even make this compulsory. In principle, there are no set rules governing the form of participation, but we are happy to help you get started with a step-by-step guide. If you follow this guide, you will, in principle, have a participation plan and a participation report that meet Apeldoorn’s standards.
