Options for using the grant

1. You will receive a grant of up to €6,000 and be visited at home by an energy adviser.
   This adviser will assess which insulation measures are best suited to your needs given the amount of the grant. You will also be helped to find a reliable contractor. You do not have to pay anything yourself; the local authority pays the contractor directly. The local authority will also handle the ISDE application on your behalf. Have you previously made use of the €2,000 home insulation grant? If so, you can apply for this scheme again. You will then be eligible for up to €4,000.
   
   
2. Would you rather give it a go yourself?
   Buy the materials from a DIY store, submit your receipts and get up to €1,000 back. Find out how it works and which materials you can buy at www.apeldoorn.nl/isoleren. This means you will not receive the full €6,000 to which you are entitled. To do so, please select option 1.
   
   
3. Have you taken any measures to improve insulation yet?
   In that case, you can apply for a grant of €1,000 retrospectively. The invoice must not be more than 12 months old. This means you will not receive the full €6,000 for which you are eligible. To do so, select option 1.

You have several options

1. You will receive a €1,000 grant once the insulation work has been carried out by a contractor or insulation company.
   You must submit your grant application after the insulation work has been carried out. The invoice must not be more than 12 months old.
   
   
2. You will receive a €1,000 grant and can opt for a free home energy assessment.
   This adviser will assess which insulation measures you can best carry out with the grant amount. They will also help you find a reliable contractor. To do this, apply for the grant in advance.
   
   
3. Would you rather give it a go yourself?
   

   Buy the materials from a DIY store, submit your receipts and get up to €1,000 back. Find out how it works and which materials you can buy at www.apeldoorn.nl/isoleren.

4. Apply for a grant together and get more
   Are you submitting an application together with at least two neighbours (a minimum of three addresses in total) from the same or an adjacent 6-digit postcode area? If so, you will receive €1,500 per property instead of €1,000. Important: Arrange for a joint quotation to be drawn up, carry out the work and then submit the invoice to the local authority. The grant is always applied for retrospectively.

Conditions for the implementation of insulation measures
