The General Local Regulation, or APV for short, is the local legislation of the municipality of Apeldoorn. It sets out rules governing public spaces, public order and everyday life in our municipality. The APV supplements national legislation with rules that apply specifically to Apeldoorn.
The General Local By-law (APV)
As a resident, you will find the following, amongst other things, in the APV:
- Events: What rules and permits apply to organising a neighbourhood party, festival or demonstration?
- Outdoor dining areas and the hospitality industry: the operating conditions and the applicable closing times
- Use of public space: rules concerning objects on the road, exit routes, de-icing and the placement of objects
- Safety in the countryside and outdoor areas: such as the ban on smoking in forests and nature reserves
- Public order: provisions on public gatherings, processions and fireworks
