How does ‘In conversation with the council’ work? We’d be happy to explain.

Submit your topic

‘In conversation with the council’ takes place approximately once a month on Thursday evenings from 7.00 pm to 7.45 pm at the Town Hall, Marktplein 1.

You can submit your topic for ‘In conversation with the council’ straight away. We will send you a confirmation of receipt. If we have any further questions, we will contact you. We will then schedule your topic and let you know when, where and at what time you are welcome to attend. It may be that we are unable to consider your topic. If this is the case, we will notify you.

We are unable to process your submission if …

  • your subject is of personal interest
  • your matter was recently discussed and dealt with at the Apeldoorn Political Forum
  • your matter is subject to legal or local authority proceedings that are impeding progress, meaning that councillors are unable to speak freely on the subject
  • your topic ‘onkies’ is offensive and has a commercial interest
  • whether your subject is a grant application or an explanation of one
  • if your enquiry is a complaint. There is a complaints procedure.
