A summer to enjoy

Summer is here again. A season when the days are longer, the evenings are warmer and we naturally find ourselves spending more time outdoors. A time to slow down a little, clear our diaries a bit and, above all, enjoy the wonderful moments that lie ahead.

For many people, summer means holidays. It’s time to get out and about, discover new places or simply enjoy staying at home. After all, there’s plenty to do right on your doorstep. A walk through the Veluwe, a cycle ride through the countryside, a visit to the town centre or a cosy terrace in one of our villages or neighbourhoods. Sometimes relaxation isn’t far away, but just round the corner.

Summer is also a lovely time to recharge your batteries. To recover from a busy period, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy long evenings outdoors. Whether it’s a barbecue in the garden, a good chat with the neighbours, or simply doing nothing at all in the sunshine.

Of course, we’re hoping for some lovely summer days, but above all, I wish everyone a wonderful time. Whether you’re heading to the seaside to soak up the sun, enjoying the peace and quiet of the Veluwe, or simply spending your holiday at home: make the most of it.
