Subject: Advice on the Wmo and Youth 2025 Policy Rules

Dear Council,

In accordance with your request, we are providing advice on the proposed amendments to the Social Support and Youth Policy Rules, which have been submitted to us in the form of two “before and after” comparison tables.

The first overview deals with the adjustment relating to the hire of assistive devices and the adjustment where outdoor storage for the assistive device is necessary.

The second overview concerns changes that are necessary to bring the policy more closely into line with recent developments and the transition from Supported Living to Supported Home, as set out in the Regional Draft Plan for Supported Home 2030.

Partly on the basis of the explanation provided by your officials regarding these amendments, we are able to give a favourable recommendation on these proposed amendments.
