‘Broad Prosperity’ Window
‘Broad Prosperity’ was introduced in the 2022 coalition agreement as an overarching framework for the Apeldoorn municipality’s actions. ‘Broad Prosperity’ encompasses everything of value. It is a way of looking at prosperity and well-being that goes beyond mere economic growth or income. It broadens the traditional, narrow approach to prosperity as a purely economic phenomenon. It centres on everything that people consider important for a good life — both now and in the future. This includes the economy and health, but also nature and the living environment.
