*Due to nitrogen-related issues, the grant-awarding process has been put on hold, resulting in significant delays in the assessment and decision-making regarding applications.

Two projects approved by the LAG:

1. IESSEL cider

The IJsselfruit Foundation will be processing standard-tree fruit from the IJssel region into cider, port, vinegar, syrup and other fruit products at the former steam pumping station on Bandijk in Terwolde. At this inspiring location, the visitor experience and the sharing of information about nature, orchards, the landscape, water and the climate go hand in hand. The project involves getting the cider brewery up and running, fitting out the reception area and creating a fruit garden with a terrace.

2. Desperately needed

Bosnodig in Voorst – situated in a varied landscape featuring a food forest, a nut orchard and a nature trail – is using this project to create a meeting place for green innovators from the IJssel Valley. Together with volunteers and school pupils, they are developing teaching packs on the food of the future and the rights of nature. In this way, we are working together towards a green and healthy future.
