Frequently asked questions about the Griftpark

Apeldoorn’s city centre is facing a problem of vacant premises. This includes the Hofstraat-Kanaalstraat area. That is why, under the new vision, this area will be given a mixed-use function, making it a wonderful place to live, work, shop and enjoy leisure activities. A meeting place with a relaxed atmosphere, small-scale events and places to sit. A park that invites people to exercise, walk or go for a run. But also a place with greater connection to the water: the Grift will be given more space within the park.

The Griftpark project covers Kalverstraat and Hofstraat-Kanaalstraat.

We are committed to ensuring the city centre remains accessible; we also take this into account as a key principle and prerequisite when planning projects. We coordinate the works as effectively as possible to minimise disruption and maintain accessibility as much as possible.
