Green Plan

The green spaces are perhaps the neighbourhood’s greatest asset. We are therefore preserving as many trees and green spaces as possible. A few trees will be removed, but at least as many will be replanted. Where we plant new species, we take a close look at biodiversity and consider which trees are best suited to the location.

The shrubs in the planting beds will largely remain as they are. Where we change the shape of the planting beds, we will of course need to make some adjustments to the planting. Furthermore, there are currently some areas where the plants are not thriving. We will be adding new plants in these spots. We are looking for species that will benefit biodiversity. And we are considering whether we can add a bit more colour in some prominent areas.

Whilst gathering residents’ wishes and ideas in the neighbourhood, it became clear that many residents would like to see climbing plants on the bare, windowless façades in the neighbourhood. We have therefore included a proposal in this plan for a number of possible locations.
