Sportfishing

For many residents and visitors to Apeldoorn, fishing is a relaxing pastime. It is therefore important to the municipality of Apeldoorn that residents and visitors are given the opportunity to fish.

If you wish to go fishing in the waters around Apeldoorn, you must hold a VISpas, a Kleine VISpas or a Jeugdvispas. For more information about the different types of VISpas, please visit the Sportvisserij Nederland website.

You are not allowed to fish everywhere. Fishing is prohibited in a number of fishing ponds, streams and springs.
