If people are driving too fast on your street, you can report this to the local police officer via the police website. It would be helpful if you could provide the times and locations of the speeding offences. It is, of course, desirable that all road users adhere strictly to the speed limit.
You can report speeding to the local council. We do not take any local action ourselves, but we regularly pass on reports of speeding to the police. This may enable the police to step up their enforcement in this area.
You can sign up, together with other residents on the street, for a VVN neighbourhood campaign. You can submit a request for a sticker campaign via the VVN Participation Point. For example, by sticking ‘30 km/h’ stickers on wheelie bins, drivers are made more aware of their speed.
