Declaration of no objection to the use of airspace

You will need a certificate of no objection for airspace if you wish to take off or land anywhere within the municipality of Apeldoorn, for example in a helicopter or hot-air balloon. In addition to this certificate, you will also need a permit from the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management.

You can apply for the certificate of no objection online. We will process your request within two weeks.

The cost of applying for this certificate is:

  • €87.02 for a single hot-air balloon take-off and landing
  • €208.78 for hot-air balloon take-off and landing for one year.

The local authority will issue this permit provided that it does not cause any nuisance to the local area. For example, you are not permitted to land in a residential area. Nor may a series of landings take place in quick succession.
