Find out what conditions and rules apply when applying for a moped or tractor licence.

Moped licence

You may ride a moped or light moped from the age of 16. A driving licence (category AM) is required for this. You also need a moped licence to drive a microcar. Further information can be found on the website of the Central Bureau for Driving Licences.

Tractor driving licence

With a tractor driving licence (category T), you are permitted to drive an agricultural and forestry tractor (LBT) and a low-speed vehicle (MMBS) on public roads. Further information can be found on the website of the Central Bureau of Driving Licences and on the website of the RDW.
