The initiative coordinators will process your application. It will take up to eight weeks to process your application. An initiative coordinator will often contact you within this period to discuss your initiative. You may also be asked to provide further information.
As soon as a decision has been made regarding your application, you will receive a letter in your grant portal.
The grant funds are usually paid out within two weeks of the grant decision being made.
If you have not received a reply six weeks after submitting your application, please contact us via initiatievenmakelaar@apeldoorn.nl.
If you receive a grant, you must carry out the initiative for which you have received the grant within one year. For initiatives lasting longer than one year, you will be given a maximum of three years.
If you are unable to carry out your initiative as set out in your application, you must inform the initiative brokers of this via initiatievenmakelaar@apeldoorn.nl.
Are you receiving a grant of more than €5,000? If so, you must submit an application for final approval within twelve weeks of completing your project. You can do this using the form at this page. When submitting your application for a decision, you must also enclose a substantive report. In this report, you should state:

As well as the ‘Residents’ Initiatives’ grant scheme, there are many other ways to secure funding for your initiative. For example, you could choose to launch a crowdfunding campaign on voorapeldoorn.nl. This will also help raise awareness of your initiative. In addition, there are national funds that sometimes contribute to local initiatives, such as the VSB Fund and the Oranjefonds. Would you like to apply for a grant, but do not qualify for this scheme?
