SVn Assessment
Customers taking out a loan must have sufficient creditworthiness. The SVn (Dutch Public Housing Incentive Fund) assesses whether this is the case. Neither the Energiepunt nor the SVn advise customers on which loan is most suitable for them. If you are in any doubt or need advice on how the loan will affect your financial situation, you can seek advice from a financial adviser.
If your project is eligible for a loan, the local authority will issue you with an authorisation to apply for the sustainability loan from SVn. They will carry out a financial assessment. This assessment determines whether you are actually eligible for the loan, which will then be granted by SVn. Among other things, SVn holds an AFM licence to offer mortgage and consumer credit.
