Event subsidy

If you are organising an event in the municipality of Apeldoorn, you can apply for an events grant. Further information can be found here.

 
Duration

You will be informed informally (verbally or by email) around the end of January and will receive formal written notification in February as to whether your grant application has been approved or rejected.

You can no longer apply for an events grant for events taking place in 2026. Applications for these grants had to be submitted by 1 November 2025.

The subsidy ceiling for public events in 2026 has been set at €193,000.

The deadline for submitting grant applications for events was 1 November 2025. Applications had to be submitted before that date.

Did you receive an events grant of €10,000 or more in 2026? If so, you must submit a application for the grant to be determined in. You must enclose the following documents with this request:

  • An application in which you ask the Municipal Executive to approve the grant for the event.
  • A report on the activities carried out. This report must include a description of the methodology used and the results achieved.
  • An annual financial report comprising a statement of income and expenditure, a balance sheet and notes thereto. In the balance sheet, expenditure of €2,000 or more must be itemised in detail. You must also provide details of the general reserve. The financial report must be consistent with the budget for which the grant was awarded.
