The Kidskaart credit is available to children aged 0 to 17 whose parents have received a RegelRecht allowance this year. Each child receives the Kidskaart credit on their own Stadspas. The Kidskaart credit cannot be applied for; it is awarded automatically.
If you are in receipt of the RegelRecht scheme and have children, your children will automatically receive Kidskaart credit. Your children will not be issued with a new card; instead, the credit will be added to their Stadspas Apeldoorn.
How does the Kids Card work?
- Have you activated your child(ren)’s Stadspas? If so, the credit on the Kidskaart will automatically be transferred to your child(ren)’s Stadspas.
- Have you not yet activated your child(ren)’s Stadspas? If not, you will receive a letter containing a code to top up the Kidskaart credit on the card. You can then spend this credit at shops, clubs and organisations participating in the Kids Scheme.
What children’s schemes are available?
There are two types of Kids Card schemes:
- School Kids Card; this credit is valid from 1 July to 1 November of the same year.
- Holiday Kids Card; this credit is valid from 1 November until 1 February of the following year.
Credit balance
- Children aged 0 to 11 inclusive will receive a Kids Card credit worth €50.
- Children aged 12 to 17 inclusive will receive a Kids Card credit worth €100.
