The municipality of Apeldoorn is working in partnership with the Debt Advice Centre. This is a secure website where we can share information quickly and easily with creditors, such as banks and businesses.
This enables us to help residents with financial difficulties more effectively and more quickly.
Samen055 can help you with:
- to get an overview of your income and expenditure;
- to start budget guidance or budget coaching;
- taking over payments and/or administration, either on a temporary or long-term basis;
- to agree on a feasible payment plan;
- to check the tax office’s allowances;
- to apply for a benefit or a local authority scheme;
- to apply for a loan to cover the outstanding payments;
- seizure of your income, bank account or household effects;
- preventing eviction or the disconnection of energy or water supplies;
- to start a debt settlement process.
You will discuss your personal situation with a member of staff from Samen055. Together, you will explore the options available to find a solution to your request for support. You can then decide for yourself whether you wish to accept this support.

As an administrator, you can apply for debt counselling on behalf of your client. You can do this by sending an email to schuldhulpverlening@apeldoorn.nl. Before the first meeting, please provide a number of documents . A neighbourhood adviser will then contact you and your client to arrange an appointment.
Your client should bring a valid form of identification to the first appointment.
