- The application relates to the current calendar year and may be granted for several calendar years.

The fee is paid annually and is equal to the total cost of emptying a 140-litre mini-container for general waste ten times. In 2025, the fee will be €77.50 per calendar year.
You may apply for an increase in your contribution if you have put out a 140-litre mini-container for general waste at least 20 times a year. We ask you to provide evidence of this by submitting your local tax assessment notice, which shows that you have put out a 140-litre mini-container for general waste at least 20 times in the previous calendar year.
The charge will be increased to an amount equal to the total cost of emptying 20 mini-containers, each with a capacity of 140 litres, for general waste. In 2026, this will be €155.00 per calendar year.
If the increased contribution is still not sufficient, you may invoke the hardship clause.
If you have been granted the contribution scheme, you can claim back the one-off cost of purchasing a 140-litre mini-container for residual waste from the municipality of Apeldoorn. You will need to provide proof of payment so that we can verify that the purchase cost was paid to Circulus Berkel. This proof of payment must not be more than 3 months old.
