Informal carers are indispensable. Through the informal carer recognition scheme, the municipality of Apeldoorn wishes to express its appreciation for their dedication.
Apply for the informal carer’s award between 15 September and 30 November 2025. Stichting de Kap is responsible for awarding the informal carer’s award on behalf of the municipality of Apeldoorn.
Apply for informal carer recognition
In 2026, the informal carer allowance will consist of:
- Adults (aged 24 and over); a 50-euro credit on the Apeldoorn Stadspas. The carer can spend this amount at participating businesses and organisations in Apeldoorn (Apeldoorn City Pass)
- Young people aged 18 to 23; a choice between a 50-euro gift voucher or a Stadspas with 50 euros’ credit
- Children up to the age of 18; a gift voucher worth 50 euros
